bar jukeboxes What is the difference between the professional Music Line2 and the cheaper Music Line4 models?

- The ML2 has 4 channel amplifier in it, which drives 5 speakers, while the cheaper version has 2 channel amplifier which drives 4 speakers. Therefore, the ML2 sounds „bigger” in higher quality. The cheaper model is suggested to use in maximum 70-80 square meters entertainment area, depending on how loud music you wish to provide for your customers.

- The ML2 is equipped with LCD (TFT) monitor while the ML4 has CRT monitor in it.

- The ML2 has a variety options for external device connections (such as external speakers, dispalys) while the ML4's connectivity options are limited. (For example, extra amplifier is necessary for connecting external speakers.)

- The ML4 has a different cabinet which is built with using cheaper materials.

jukebox licensing How can you update the music/video content in your jukebox?

- Paying royalties to the authors of the music numbers is an important issue, as in our case it is about making duplicates which are stored on the hard disc of the jukebox. The royalties and/or licensing fees vary country by country. In Hungary, we concluded an agreement with the MAHASZ (member of International Federation of the Phonographic Industry). Based on this agreement we pay an amount of approx. EUR 0.5 for each music/video track uploaded on the machine. This sum is reimbursed on the customer in all cases. Therefore, the music tracks on a certain machine are paid for good and are not encumbered by further royalty whatsoever. There are countries (e.g. the Slovak Republic) where a general fee must be paid for each machine on a monthly basis, regardless of the quantity of the uploaded musical items (approx. EUR 25-30 per month per machine). We can advise you how to legalize the music content in Hungary, Ireland, Romania, Slovenia, Germany and Slovakia. In other countries, you need to ask the IFPI's local branch regarding licensing and royalties.
