New Digital Pinball www.digitalpinballmachines.com :::::::: The Software of the jukebox Software (operator) menu: This menu is for operators only, customers should not enter it. Enter the operator menu: 1. Turn the machine on. 2. Take the back cover board off the machine. 3. Find the I/O card (small PCB). There are two micro switches on the PCB. One of them is the operator menu micro switch. (See the picture sent to you in e-mail or ask us for instructions) 4. Press the micro switch once. (Now you can see the operator menu on the screen.) You can select menu points by pressing the START push button. You can see the menu points below in the same order as they appear on the screen. 1. Exit menu: You exit the operator menu when selecting this point. 2. Data for settling accounts (bookkeeping) : Short term counter (delete is allowed), long term counter (delete isn’t allowed). (You always should delete the short term counter after each account settling with your partner, so the counter starts to count the next period from zero again.) You can also check the mechanical counter inside the machine. The mechanical counter should indicate the same number as the long term counter in the menu. 3. Top 30 music list (most played tracks) 4. Settings. 4/1. Exit menu 4/2.,3.,4., Prices can be adjusted separately for a music number, a Karaoke number or a Video Clip Number in these menu points. 4/5. Bonus numbers can be given and set according to inserted money. 4/6. The machine can turn on itself randomly to catch attention. Its frequency can be adjusted as well. 4/7. The volume of the microphone can be set in 4 levels by the software. 4/8. The microphone can be set to be active all the time, or to be active only when karaoke music is being played. 4/9. The volume of the machine can be maximized to a certain level . (That also can be done mechanically on the amplifier.) 4/10. It is possible to delete selected tracks that haven’t been played yet (this may be necessary for example after closing time, because the machine keeps the selected numbers in memory in the case of power down or switching off) . 5. Music content update: You only need to place your written CD into the machine and start uploading. The machine will do the rest automatically. 6. You can select background image for the screen (15 types of coloured background designs). 7. Albums can be set as hidden (invisible) due to royalties are paid for forever here in Hungary for each machine. Songs can be hidden if not wanted in a certain restaurant and can get turned visible later. 8. Reloading of hidden albums is possible here. 9. Albums can be deleted ultimately. (This menu point is in demand in certain countries.) 10. Software Update. When we increase our product's performance with a new service we can send it to you on a CD and you can easily upload it. Music content update (menu 5): 1. Turn the jukebox OFF (important first step). 2. Place your specially written MP3 CD in the CD-Rom and contact the CD-Rom to the computer (plug the IDE cable and the power cable in the CD-Rom). 3. Turn the jukebox ON. 4. Enter the operator menu by pressing the operator menu micro switch (on the I/O card). 5. Select menu 5. (music uploading). 6. Select YES and press the START button. 7. When the jukebox has finished uploading, turn the jukebox OFF and disconnect the CD-Rom. Important: The machine must be turned OFF when connecting or disconnecting the CD-ROM !!!
